Had this bike for 3 years now and its done 2000km, based on its built in computer. It started to make a knocking noise so I checked inside (you can see inside through the top cover with a torch) and one of the two drive belts on the fly-wheels has started to fray and has split. I contacted Ultrasport and they are sending me a replacement belt, with instructions on how to replace it for free. This is outside of warranty, and they said they will do this for any bike that needs a belt replacement. That's excellent customer service! (If you want to replace the belt yourself, there are two within the bike, and they are standard size and pretty cheap to find on eBay or elsewhere. The 230J attaches to the metal flywheel, and the 240J attaches to the larger plastic drive wheel. About £6 each.) A decent exercise bike for a good price. Easy to assemble and seems to be pretty robust, though we've only had it a month, so too early to tell.

Until now we'd only had a small floor exercise bike - the kind that doesn't have a seat and you place under a chair. It was pretty rubbish with practically no resistance. This proper, magnetic bike has a decent amount of resistance at level 7 and 8. It's very subjective, though, and if you're a keen cyclist you might disagree. For us, it's perfect. Quite small, easy to fold up and with enough resistance to give me a decent bit of exercise after working from my home office all day. (Note that if you are under 5ft3 or so, you may struggle to reach the pedals comfortably. My wife is 5ft and I had to saw a couple of inches off the bottom of the seat post so she was at the correct height to use it when sitting. Not a big deal, easy with a hack saw and some elbow grease, and I can still use it at the higher seat settings.)

I bought this machine as it seemed good value for money. It certainly is. Sturdily constructed. I weigh 16 1/4 stone & this is so well made that it would cope with more without a problem. Seller being cautious over max weight. Others have dealt with mod for saddle height & low setting for serious workout. However after 5 weeks of use at 10 mins. per day to tone myself up a bit I found that setting 8 was not challenging enough. It was to start with but I was very unfit. As soon as my leg muscle tone improved setting 8 was too easy & no way was I going to do any serious "burning". This is an excellent machine for the money & amazon deserve full credit for sponsoring such a machine at the price.

I need this to exercise the muscles around dodgy knees every day. It does the job perfectly. It was easy to set up, with clear instructions. It is compact but well built, sturdy and secure to use confidently. There is just one control, the resistance knob, and that works just fine. It will fold up but that requires pulling out and reinserting a bolt each time - not sure you'd want to do that each day with a heavy unit like this. I find the seat and handlebars comfortable. I can hook the cover of my iPad over the front of the handlebars and watch stuff to keep my mind off the mind-numbing boredom that is gym exercise. This clearly isn't for serious spinners (an oxymoron to me). But if, like me, you're not into the gym experience and just need to keep in trim or exercise leg muscles regularly in a small corner of your home, it's perfect.

Just put this together all on my own (yay me). I would suggest having someone to help hold it up when you do the back and front bars on the floor. The rest easy. Quite a few bits to attach, but looks worse than it easy, really good instructions. My 1 issue is that the straps came not attached to the pedals so I'm not sure what way round they go and the inside notches I've yet to work out how to get the rubber over. Just had a 12 min go on it and actually straps aren't a must (even checked and the pedals are well shaped, feet didn't slip once!) Great display. Super easy to move. An excellent product for the price, it has everything you need including 8 resistance settings. I'm very excited as my new physio this week got me to try out an exercise bike as I've lost all cartilage in my knees, with lots of issues and this will help "scaffold" and strengthen the soft tissues around my knees that I've not got much of due to lack of exercise from pain. Literally no pain on cycling on one of these so excellent where walking is a real challenge. Super happy.

I did not expect much from this bike given the cost, bought it mainly because it is fold-up and cheap. I am pleasantly surprised to find that it is a very decent bit of kit indeed. Sturdy, good size saddle, and easy to assemble. Unusually, the instruction pamphlet is clear and comprehensive (several languages). Things to pay a little more attention to when assembling - The saddle has 3 inbuilt bolts with nuts. After unscrewing nuts from saddle bolts and fitting the saddle attachment rod, you might meet resistance after a few turns when screwing the nuts back on using the included spanner. The solution is to use a heavier spanner (or pliers), adjustable or plain, tighten through the resistance after double checking you haven't cross threaded it. The pedals are marked R and L respectively. R (for Right, obviously enough) screws in clockwise, L screws in anticlockwise. Other than that - which isn't really much - it's all plain sailing, easy to assemble. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase, heartily recommended.

Absolutely marvellous! A brilliant exercise bike for those who don't want to spend a lot. Basic, yes but you'd join a gym club if you wanted more. A little tricky to assemble but the leaflet recommended getting assistance so no problem. 'Which' magazine recommended too.

Love this bike, easy to assemble and folds easily. Had to request a replacement as the first one delivered had faulty monitor but all good now. Very pleased with this purchase, would recommend if you are looking for a simple, uncomplicated exercise bike.

Posted earlier review with only one star, which was not published. Reason for one star was that original delivery was wrong colour and then replacement took a week mainly due to Royal Mail. I now have the correct colour and so far I'm very pleased with the bike. Easy to assemble, extremely quiet and comfortable. Looking forward to getting much fitter.

The Ultrasport F-Bike was easy to assemble using the tools provided by the manufacturer. It is well built and sturdy. I feel totally safe on it and it doesn't take up much space. This exercise bike is Super Quiet, I don't hear a thing when I'm using it. I live in a large house converted into flats and I've used it in the early hours (2am) and nobody has complained. The electronics work a treat, turns itself on and off automatically when you start using it. I got this bike to assist my physiotherapy having had Total Knee Replacement surgery. The highest resistance setting (no8) is plenty to develop the muscles around my knee. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this exercise bike.

Can't fault this bike. Easy to set up, great to use (with decent resistance levels), solid and sturdy without being heavy. Display is simple, but gives you what you need.

I have been into running up until I got some issues with my ankle and arch. This made me very sad. I have been trying to keep motivated and active by exercising at the gym but it's difficult to do the intense cardio as a lot of the classes are high impact. I therefore have put on a few pounds :( and have been doing spin to try and fend on the extra weight. I found that on a dark evening and a tough day at work, I'm not really feeling the gym and so decided on an exercise bike so I could do a bit in the evenings without being swallowed up by guilt. My friend has one but says she doesn't use it as much as her treadmill as it's harder to get heart rate up. But I decided it's worth a try as the reviews were good and it's the price of a few nights out on the town or one wild night. This bike is super. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble with a bit of elbow grease (I begrudgingly got a tiny bit of help from my other half getting the bolts in around the handle bars). It is especially great on a Saturday morning if you just can't bring yourself to go the the gym! I recommend interval training if you want to burn calories. Flat out bursts of 20 seconds and the breaks of 20 seconds. Then high resistance for long periods (Some of the reviews said that the resistance doesn't go that high, I was actually pleasantly surprised with the resistance, it's not super high but does the job). There are lots of online motivating videos on cycling if you're not sure. This morning, I was on it for an hour listening to some rpm tracks on well known streaming software and managed to get my heart rate up to peak and averaged it at 150bpm burning nearly 600 calories (I have a fitness tracker watch thing that is reasonably accurate). What I also like about this bike is that my other half (who has been feeling unenthusiastic about exercise as of late) goes on it in the evening too. He likes it and enjoys doing a bit while watching tv. I bought the bike that is up to 100kg as I am around 66kg and he is around 90something kg, I am 5ft 6 and he is 6ft 1 and we fit the bike no problem. It can be easily adjusted for height.
